Backed by over 16 years of experience in audio production
and the design and installation of sound reinforcement systems,
R.J Coleman’s creative enthusiasm and commitment to excellence
have established him as a prominent practitioner in modern electro-acoustic
design and control systems.
RJ’s involvement with the recording profession
has produced numerous specialized installations for prominent
musicians, engineers, producers and recording facilities. Understanding
the delicate infrastructure and marriage of electrical systems
with acoustical environments would later lend interest within
the systems contracting industry.
In 1996 he shifted his profession in a joint venture
to implement “studio quality” technology and installation
practices for modern corporate conference, boardroom and market
research facilities. This new avenue would expand his project
involvements with themed destinations, houses of worship, nightclubs,
hospitality, airports, stadiums, arenas, theatres and performing
arts centers.
In 2003, RJ made the transition into high-end residential
and marine entertainment systems. These projects and their complexity
grew as there was a demand for critical listening environments
and complex control systems similar in size and scope to large
commercial facilities. EAP was founded to meet the growing need
for complete and professional engineering and management solutions
in the industry.
Aside from technology, RJ Coleman is a father, scuba
diver, musician and salsero. His musical interests vary from straight-ahead
and progressive jazz, axe, samba, MPB, bossa nova, salsa, African
and rock.
